The first, and perhaps only, corgi to become a canine cop is based in Weifang, Shandong province in eastern China. The 1 ½ year old short-legged dog named Fuzai will do anything for food treats, for good or ill.
Killing rats in New York City is usually a thankless task, but rat-killer extraordinaire Luna just got a good citizen award. Council Member Chi Ossé, presented Luna with a City Council Citation for “being New York's strongest soldier in our war against the rats.”
For more than two decades, the Transportation Security Administration has been clogging airports (or keeping us safe, depending on one’s point of view), aided in part by about 1000 bomb-sniffing canines across the country.
